Jeffrey A. Johnston Sr.

Age 57, of Joliet, passed away Saturday, February 06, 2021, at his residence in Joliet.

Jeff is survived by his devoted and loving girlfriend Melissa Felty of Joliet, IL and raised son, LeeLand Woods; one son, Jeffrey Johnston Jr. of Peoria Heights, IL; his father, Gary Lee Johnston Sr. of Peoria, IL; his siblings, Gary (Sharon) Johnston Jr. of Channahon, IL and Becky (Dave) Fallin of Crest Hill, IL; and his niece Amy (Tony) Friscia, nephew Derek Johnston, niece Angela Stuber, niece Janelle Johnston, and nephew Drew Richardson; and several adoring great nieces and nephews (Aiden, Carsen, Sophia, Adrian, Hunter and Rylee).

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Jean Lahne.

Jeffrey A. Johnston Sr. was born in Peoria, Illinois on November 15, 1963. 

Jeff had a loving heart and a friendly demeanor.  No matter where he went, Jeff would find someone to talk to and make new friends.  Jeff loved sports!  Regardless what was on television, whether it be football, hockey, baseball, NASCAR, you knew when the phone rang it was Jeff talking about something that happened.  Jeff also loved tinkering with things that were broken and many times he would get it working again.  Most of all he loved his family and friends!  Jeff was amazing at staying connected and called often.  He was so proud of everyone.  He will be greatly missed!   

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's name can be made to:  Shriners Hospitals for Children (Donate) or American Diabetes Association (ADA Donation).

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life gathering for Jeff will be held at a later date, not yet determined.
